Doctor Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart, Scientific Advisor to the Council of State, exposed Cuba's experiences in the use of renewable energy at the World Science and Engineering Congress (WSEC-2017).
Dr. Castro Diaz-Balart, also Vice President of the Academy of Sciences, spoke at the event, which ended on Wednesday in Astana, Kazakhstan, reported the Nuclear Energy and Advanced Technologies.
The report revealed that the Cuban scientist was one of the main speakers of the event in his condition as honorable guest and made declarations to Prensa Latina News Agency.
According to the source, Castro Diaz-Balart said that it was important for Cuba to explain its concept on the issue, especially when it is part of the national energy development project.
