A group of scientific projects that contribute directly to the mitigation of the effects of climate change were exposed today in the first day of the Ecojoven event, which takes place in the city of Holguin.

The study of endemic species of the fauna of eastern Cuba, specifically amphibians and reptiles, was among the topics addressed during the session, in which some 30 young people participated with contributions to science and technological innovation.

The Cuban Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) reported in Havana that it will start the summer throughout the country with varied recreational and gastronomic options for the family.

These options will be complemented with the commercialization of offers in the tourist facilities, camping, as well as excursions dedicated to the summer stage, detailed that portfolio in a press release.

In Havana, a fair will take place this June 30, in which the sale of tickets for the Josone Jazz and Son Festival will be highlighted, to be held from 12 to 15 July in the Varadero resort (located about 140 kilometers east of the capital).

The sectors of Commerce, culture, sports, tourism and youth institutions in the province of Holguin are ready to offer multiple and varied offers during the months of this summer.

The programming in this regard will have as its main support the optimal use of resources and material resources available in each of the facilities for the healthy recreation of the population between July and August, as reported by the Provincial Summer Commission.
