Celebrated in Several Parts of the World the Day of the National Rebellion of Cuba

Congratulations to the Cuban people! 65 years have passed since the Assault on the Moncada Barracks and their rebelliousness continues to be present in the struggle against US imperialism. Long live the 26J Movement! "

These were the words of the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on the Twitter social network when congratulating the Cuban Government and people, for the celebrations of this July 26, from the first hours of this day.

From different cities and towns of the world and with expressions of admiration, support and affection -both in social networks and through Cuban diplomatic missions abroad-, the world celebrated with Cuba, the Day of National Rebellion.

Debate on Work Priorities for the Province of Holguín

The third ordinary session of the XII mandate of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power in Holguín, held at the "Celia Sánchez Manduley" theater of the headquarters of the Provincial Party Committee, analyzed a broad work agenda with emphasis on the tasks that constitute a priority for this territory of eastern Cuba.

A report on the control and inspection carried out by the temporary committee of the Assembly on the operation of the system of attention to the population, revealed that so far this year more than 15 thousand 200 cases were attended and the municipalities with the highest incidence were Holguín, Moa, Banes and "Calixto García", although in a general sense we must continue moving towards higher goals.

Presented Book of Cuban Hero René González in Holguín

The book Written from the bench, of the Hero of the Republic of Cuba René González, was presented at the Provincial Museum of History La Periquera of the city of Holguín, as part of his tour of Cuba.

Gonzalez, who served an unjust sentence in US prisons, explained during the exhibition that the text shows the moral victory of the Cuban people over the US government, taking as reference the ideas of José Martí and Fidel Castro.

The work, he said, also allows knowing the mentality of the leaders of terrorist organizations based in the city of Miami, whose main objective is to destabilize the Cuban Revolution.
