The first hotel with Star Prestige category of the Spanish chain Iberostar will start operations in Cuba, next November, in the eastern province of Holguín, a territory that is distinguished by its broad potential in the tourism sector of the Caribbean island.

Iberostar Holguín stands very close to the Pesquero beach, in the area known as Estero, and will have 638 rooms, of which 576 are distributed in bungalows, 60 with the Star Prestige category and two presidential suites, which offer the comfort and privacy of a boutique hotel within a large resort where you can enjoy a private lounge area and an exclusive beach club.

Ana Riscalli, director of operations of this management in eastern Cuba, declared that this new hotel will be the first to have this high standard characterized by the exquisite personalized service of customer service.

The popular Salvadoran singer Álvaro Torres will return the next day 21 to the city of Holguin to delight again with his music to the public and promote his first production with the Company of Recordings and Musical Editions (EGREM).

Andrés Cayón, head of programming and sales of the EGREM in the province of Holguin, told the press that the concert is expected to take place at the Bariay Cultural Center, although other options are not ruled out, taking into account the high call of the interpreter.

He specified that the concert is part of a tour carried out by Torres through the Caribbean nation that includes the provinces of Santiago de Cuba, Granma, Cienfuegos and Matanzas.

Low levels of execution of Science and Technological Innovation projects that favor the financing of activities in the Turquino Plan are appreciated in the mountainous areas of the province of Holguín.

In order to resolve this situation, the relevant coordination wwas made with the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) and the companies, for the definition of topics that, according to the diagnosis of each population settlement, can generate projects.

The representatives of the five municipalities of Holguín that make up the Plan Turquino are Cueto, Mayarí, "Frank País", Sagua de Tánamo and Moa. They are trained to start the exploratory phase and the identification of endogenous potentialities.
