The municipality of Frank País was the venue for the 58th anniversary of the foundation of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC in Spanish), where a commemorative act was celebrated

The membership of the organization and the people in general payed tribute to the promoters of the rights of women in our country, among which highlight Mariana Grajales, Celia Sánchez y Vilma Espín as fundamental milestones and protagonists of the revolution

At the celebration were present Ernesto Santiesteban, First Secretary of the party in the province; Julio César Estupiñán, President of the  Assembly of the People´s Power in the territory; as well as representatives of the FMC and other mass organizations of the municipality of Frank País.

Fourteen directives at the base were acknowledged withthe distinction ¨23 de Agosto¨ for their sustained work in function of the social inclusion of women. Likewise, the most outstanding municipalities were recognized as well as the blocks with a relevant work during the period.
 
The date was appropriate for the inauguration of restored social works as a family consultation office which provides attention to more than a thousand patients in the area, a sports field, the secondary school Raúl Cepero Bonilla, which will open its doors on September 3rd totally restored.
