Biotur 2018 Ended with New Proposals
"Holguín's tourist pole is much more than sun and sand and Biotur 2018 showed it," said Yosvani Velázquez, director of the travel agency Ecotur Oriente during the closing of the nature tourism event that took place in the municipality of Gibara.

The Agency also provided navigation on the river to its mouth Cacoyugüín in Gibara Bay to anchor on the beach of San Antonio and continue to the natural viewpoint of Cerro de Yabazón.
Meanwhile, another group explored the route that leads to Caletones beach and the ecological reserve of the same name, followed by a cavalcade to the crystalline cenote Cristalitos de Papaya and from there a walk to the Blue Tank, the largest flooded cavern discovered in Cuba.
The tour ended with a catamaran ride to glimpse the sunset from Gibara Bay and a walk at night through the streets of the Villa Blanca of crabs.
