Laura Diaz, just six years old enjoyed along with other infants of different ages, the interpretations of renowned singer Lidis Lamorú from Holguín in one of the main activities developed in the city of Holguín on the occasion of Children's Day.

The girl said that she really likes Lidis's songs and that she asked her parents and grandparents to take her to see the singer in the concert offered yesterday at Plaza Camilo Cienfuegos, Holguin, one of the scenarios chosen for the festivities children's this Sunday.

In a kind of choir in full sun, the artist gave the little ones, who were accompanied by her parents, songs from her repertoire, among them El disco por una sonrisa and Don Lagartijo and other themes that distinguish the musical work of Lamorú in her 21 years of artistic career.

The festivities for Children's Day, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of July of each year in Cuba, were extended through all the municipalities of Holguín with offers of local artistic talent dedicated especially to the youngest members of the household.

The program included, in different spaces, the performance of clowns, magicians, sports games and sales of books and sweets among other options, which in the provincial capital also extended to areas of the baseball stadium Calixto García and the Valle Recreational Park of Mayabe, among others.
