They convene the II International Culinary Workshop Cuba Taste 2020

The Cultural Tourism Agency Paradiso, along with the Cultural Council of National  Heritage, the Culinary Federation of Cuba and the Bartenders and Sommeliers Associations convene the II  International Workshop Cuba Taste 2020, which will take place in Havana next January 9th until the 11th.

Its organizers announced at a press conference at the Grand Hotel Iberostar Packard, venue of the event, that the purpose is to understand, promote and assume the values ​​of Cuban cuisine as history, tradition and modernity.

The Master in Science Lis Cuesta Peraza, Manager of Academic Services in Paradiso and president of the organizing committee, explained that to date more than 200 representatives of Cuba have confirmed their participation, so as Mexico, Italy, United States and Spain.

It is sponsored by the Ministries of Culture and Tourism so as Iberostar, among other institutions. Cuba Taste aims to defend the national cuisine, its constant updating and promotion as a valuable treasure.

Cuesta Peraza explained that the event includes workshops, conferences, tours, tastings and concerts, with presentations of Alain Pérez, Isaac Delgado and Juan Guillermo (JG).

She also thanked the institutions that cooperate with the event, especially the Spanish Honorato Espinar Martínez, Corporate Chef of Iberostar hotel group.

Its fundamental objective is to support the Cuban cuisine as heritage and contribute to the creation of a file that validates this criterion, the president of the organizing committee at the international workshop  emphasized, who invites to taste the Cuban flavor.

In addition to knowledge and flavors they will exchange about marinading, moreover in each edition the culinary establishes links with others artistic manifestations, said Chef Eddy Fernández Monte, President of the Culinary Federation of Cuba.

This time they will dig into themes about artistic decoration of dishes in their presentations, they will highlight the influence of Italian food in Cuba, and the event will be dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the San Alejandro Plastic Arts Academy in Havana.
