More than 200 thousand people march along Plaza Mayor General Calixto García, and more than 500 thousand did it in the whole Holguín province.

Everyone left their houses with the parade motto Unity, Commitment and Victory. They hold flags, colorful kerchiefs and commitments. There are workers, students, combatants, housewives, retired ones, representing each part of the population.

The parade was hosted by General of the Army Ramón Espinosa Martín, heroe of the Cuban Republic, and Ernesto Santiesteban Velázquez, first secretary of the Party in Holguín.
