It is gratifying to witness progress in the planned tasks in the executive schedules of these investments, which seek to stabilize and shorten the distribution cycles, save water and energy carriers, improve the sanitary conditions of the city, and increase water quality.

The city of Holguin grows and welcomes a construction program of houses and buildings, which also implies a greater volume of water to meet the populationdemand, and that is also foreseen in the investments execution.

It is also necessary to guarantee stability in the service and reduce delivery cycles, without neglecting the imperative of reducing a water loss, the saving of energy carriers, so asenhancing services in a general.

The province of Holguín is favored by investments that are made in the diversion areas, which are the sources for the city water supply, and this allows increasing the distribution to the population, something that becomes positive as to face possible periods of drought, which cyclically affect the province.
