The infrastructure and living conditions of PlanTurquinoin Holguín are improved
The improvement of the infrastructure and living conditions of Plan Turquino in the province of Holguín is an evidence of the attentionprovided by the corresponding authorities for the benefit of that developing Revolution Program in this eastern territory ofCuba.
It is a matter as sensitive as it is the housing fund; statisticsrevealed by the Provincial Administration Council (CAP), indicatethat in terms of housing, investment and conservationplans were exceeded, but regarding rehabilitation, expectations were not met.

In the highway network, attention was given to more than a thousand kilometers thatwere highlydeteriorated, although the quality of manual labors was affected due to a lack ofrequired tools.
The budget allocated for this purpose was executed during 2018, to a 99.5 percent, and it has been pointed out that it presented irregularities in itsadministration, while mechanized actions were carried out in roads of the municipalities of Moa, Sagua de Tánamo and Mayarí, according to the report.
The communal services showed improvements; theoperation and stability of the electric generatorswas set; thepassenger transportation registered a 1288 trips more compared to the same previous period; and computer andcommunication servicesadvanced as repairs and investments were made.
As an example of this, there is the installation of 37 new telephoneservices; the connection to the optical fiber of the television signal transmitters, and a radio base of mobiletelephone was installed.
Moreover, the mail services sold more than 22,400 publications; the Radio Cuba company complied with thescheduled maintenance; and in schools and television rooms it is intended to replace televisions with LED technology.
